Neisha Shepherd is one of Australia’s most respected voices in Family and Children’s Law, with over two decades of experience as a lawyer, advocate and educator. As the Founder and Legal Director of NLS Law, Neisha has dedicated her career to transforming the lives of families and children through exceptional legal representation and systemic reform.
As an accredited specialist in Children’s Law, Neisha has led landmark cases that have shaped the landscape of Australian jurisprudence, including MRR v GR (2010) 240 CLR 461, DN v Secretary, Department of Communities and Justice (2023) 113 NSWLR 257, and Re Tracey (2011) 80 NSWLR 261.
